South Norfolk Local Flavours - 4th April - Bressingham Steam and Gardens

Welcome to South Norfolk Local Flavours “Meet the Buyer” bringing together local food suppliers and services with potential trade customers.

South Norfolk area is bursting with talented food and drink producers from the kitchen table cup cake makers to some of the largest food businesses in the UK. All contribute to a diverse and flavoursome mix of ingredients, making the area one of the most talented food producing areas in the country.

Statistics suggest buying local not only supports the local economy, but the produce is likely to be fresher and tastier through reduced transport and storage costs. With climate change pressures the reduction in food miles is an added bonus.

South Norfolk Local Flavours will showcase the wealth of local food producing talent the area has and give visitors from the hospitality, catering, food retail and tourism industries the chance to meet suppliers in one place and find some exciting new tastes to serve on their menus and in store.

The event will take place on Friday 4th April 2014 at Bressingham Steam Museum, Near Diss. The event is part of the South Norfolk Market Town Initiative to supporting local businesses encouraging local purchases.
